Abstract Submission Guidelines

Submission Method Abstracts must be submitted online via the ISLS 2023 website only.
Language English
Word limit Max. 300 words
Abstract Title Capitalize the first letter of each word. Titles in ALL CAPS are not allowed.
Refrain from using standard abbreviations or acronyms in the title.
Author Information Name
All co-authors' first and family name(s) must be provided in full.
Degrees or titles such as MD after an author's name must be deleted.
Affiliation
Affiliation should be structured as follows: Department, Institution, and Country.
Abstract Format Structure
The abstract body can be written as an original article
Original Article: Summary description of study/research set out in a systematic, stylized form under headings structured in: Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
Pictures/Graphs/Tables
No pictures, graphs, and tables are allowed.
Presentation Types Authors have the option to indicate their preference on their presentation type among 'Oral Presentation', 'E-poster Presentation' or 'Oral or E-poster Presentation', 'Video Presentation'. The ISLS 2023 Scientific Committee, however, reserves the right to decide the final type of presentation for all abstracts after review.
Additional Guidelines for Video Submission
  • You are required to submit your abstracts online through the online abstract submission form.
  • The video submission must be uploaded prior to the submission deadline.
  • The video submission must include the abstract title, authors’ names and institutional affiliations.
  • All video commentary should be in English.
  • The video submission is limited to a maximum duration of 7 minutes.
  • We do not encourage 3D video submissions.

  • Visit the ISLS 2023 website video abstract submission page.
  • An abstract/summary of the video must be submitted via our online submission system. The abstract should not exceed 300 words in length, and should be typed in English.
  • Copy and paste the share link of the file you wish to upload on to the ISLS 2023 website window and click the "Save and Next" button.

Abstract policy

Acknowledgement Acknowledgment of submission will be sent automatically to both the abstract submitter and the presenting author by e-mail. Please contact the secretariat if the e-mail confirmation has not been sent.
Modification Modifications may be made at any time until the late-breaking abstract submission deadline of July 15, 2023
Withdrawal Written request by email is required.

  • Step 2  Submission and Confirmation

    After entering all required abstract contents, a confirmation letter will be sent to the presenting author and corresponding author via email.

  • Step 3  Review & Modification

    To review or modify your submitted abstract(s), visit 'My Page'.

  • Step 4  Acceptance Notice

    An acceptance notice will be sent to the presenting author on August 7 (Mon), 2023.
